High Content Screening soon available at the BIC

Thanks to the support of the Nouvelle Aquitaine Regional Council, IBiSA and Labex Brain, the Bordeaux Imaging Centre is currently working on the acquisition of a new equipment dedicated to High Content Screening. This piece of equipment is dedicated to fast imaging a large number of experimental conditions, samples being prepared in a well suited support (>96-wells plates, 0.17mm glass bottom). We foresee two main types of applications. Of course, the main goal is drug/siRNA/condition screening: large datasets will be acquired in a blink of an eye. An additional goal will be to parallelize regular acquisitions: what if, instead of spending hours on your favorite microscope, you could automatically image your 12-24 conditions by setting up a routine on our new machine ? If this article has left you puzzled, our simply curious about the expected capabilities, don’t hesitate to come and talk to us ! We would be happy to hear about your expectations and specific requests.
