The photonic unit of the BIC participate to a facebook live under the banner “Le CNRS fait son Live”.

The objective of this communication event is to produce live videos from the CNRS laboratories, large research equipment or unusual science sites. This is an opportunity for Internet users to interact live with scientific teams, to get behind the scenes of research and to discover the science being done.

This live was shot at the BIC site and at IINS (Interdisciplinary Institute for Neuroscience)  Wednesday, March 13. This interview was conducted by a science journalist from France Inter, Daniel Fievet. It has been a nice opportunity to present the photonic unit and all the state of the art equipment that we have, in particular, the STED microscope but also entire 3D brain imaging with the Ultramicroscope.
